How To Use A 26 Degree Lens Tube
- Confirm the fixture is powered off and cool before removing the existing lens tube.
- Release the lens tube from the rear of the Source Four fixture body and remove it.
- Align and attach the 26-degree lens tube to the fixture body, securing it in place per the fixture’s mounting hardware.
- Power on the fixture and confirm lamp/LED engine alignment is centered in the new lens tube.
- Position the fixture at your intended throw distance: Use ETC’s published photometric data for the 26-degree lens tube to estimate field diameter and output at your specific throw distance.
- Focus the beam edge, then use the fixture’s framing shutters to shape or crop the beam as needed for your cue.
- Lock the focus and shutter positions once the look is set, and re-check focus after the fixture has been in use for a full lamp/LED warm-up cycle.
