NODE 4

SKU: DFD NODE 4 Category:

Description

The NODE family of Ethernet to DMX interfaces work with ArtNet, streaming ACN (aka sACN, ANSI E1.31, Net3), draft sACN (used by some ETC products), ShowNet (by Strand Lighting), and KiNet (by Color Kinetics) and can be configured using a built in web browser. They have zero boot time upon application of power.

The NODE1 has a single port and is available in both Architectural and Portable versions. The Architectural version, NODE1-A, requires only a single Ethernet cable for power (via PoE) and signal, and fits in a single gang wall mount box. The NODE1 is supplied with either a female (output) or a male (input) DMX connector.

The NODE2 has two front mounted DMX512 ports which can be configured as either input or outputs. The standard unit is provided with two female DMX output connectors. Each port has an associated two-digit display with up/down push buttons which are used to select the DMX universe number for that port. This allows easy system configuration in the field without the need to connect a computer. DMX universes 1 ? 99 are accessible using the buttons and displays. For security, the DMX universe selection cannot be changed while a cable connector is inserted. When ports are configured for universe numbers above 99, the local buttons are locked out from modifying the configuration.

The NODE4 has four fully isolated DMX ports in a rack mountable enclosure. Each port can be configured as either an input or as an output. All of the data connectors can be mounted on either the front or rear panel. Their location can be changed in the field to accommodate fixed or touring installations. Network and DMX port settings may be accessed using a front panel interface in addition to the internal web server.

The NEW NODE16-DIN is a DIN-rail mounted Ethernet to DMX bridging device. It accepts Artistic License’s Art-Net or Streaming ACN (ANSI E1.31) protocols. There are sixteen DMX512 outputs, and each of the outputs are isolated from the Ethernet input. The Ethernet input connection is made via an RJ45 connector, and the DMX512 output connections are made via pluggable Phoenix terminal blocks. The NODE16-DIN supports Power over Ethernet (PoE ? 802.3af) or a 24-48VDC power input. NODE configuration takes place with a backlit graphical LCD and an encoder wheel.
