Description
The 16″ Mega-Beam Clamp features a low-profile sliding jaw design that keeps your load as close to the I-beam as possible for maximum stability. Two aircraft aluminum jaws adjust along a 3/4″–6″ tip Acme threaded shaft, and the spring-loaded handle locks securely after adjustment. At roughly half the weight of steel equivalents and with a wider gripping range, it’s the preferred choice for demanding rigging applications. Accommodates I-beam flanges from 2″ to 16″ wide and up to 1″ thick. The center hole measures 1-1/2″. Optional 2″ jaw inserts are available for flanges up to 2″ thick (Part #MBC2INCHJAWS).
