Description
This two-rung ladder section pairs with a 510-HD heavy duty pipe clamp rated to support up to 50 lbs., making it a practical solution for hanging lighting fixtures, drop boxes, cable looms, and other production equipment from standard theatrical pipe. The compact two-rung format provides the lateral spacing needed for stable, level fixture positioning on pipe grids and battens. Used widely in theaters, schools, auditoriums, and live event venues, this ladder and clamp combination is a reliable choice for lighting hangs, production rigging, and general stage hardware applications.
Key Features Of Light Ladder With Heavy Duty Pipe Clamp
- Heavy duty pipe clamp included – the 510-HD clamp is rated to hold up to 50 lbs. and comes pre-attached, so this light ladder is ready to mount straight out of the box.
- Two-rung design – gives you two hang points across a wider span than a single clamp, useful for spreading out fixtures, cable, or drop boxes along one pipe.
- Standard theatrical rigging hardware – sized to fit common batten and pipe grid diameters found in theatres, schools, and touring rigs.
- Compact footprint for transport – folds down to 48 × 48 × 12 in., making this stage lighting ladder easy to store or load into a truck pack between shows.
- Durable steel build – 30 lbs. of solid construction meant to hold up under repeated load-in/load-out cycles.
How To Use The Light Ladder With Heavy Duty Pipe Clamp
- Position the clamp on the pipe. Open the 510-HD heavy duty pipe clamp and set it around your batten or pipe at the spot where you want the ladder hung.
- Tighten to secure. Close and tighten the clamp fully so the light ladder sits flush and doesn’t slide or rotate on the pipe once weight is added.
- Attach a safety cable. As with any rigging hardware, run a safety cable from the ladder to the pipe as a secondary fall-arrest measure. This isn’t included, so grab one separately if you don’t already have it in inventory.
- Load your fixtures or gear. Once secured, hang your fixtures, drop boxes, or cable loom across the two rungs, keeping the total load under the clamp’s 50 lb. rating.
- Check before every use. Since this stage lighting ladder gets reused across multiple hangs, give the clamp and rungs a quick visual check each time for wear, bent rungs, or a loose clamp bolt before trusting it with a new load.
